Kuen Yeow Chin MBChB MSc FRCS(Plast)

Mr Kuen Yeow Chin is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. Graduating from University of Glasgow with distinction, he pursued his plastic surgery training in different units around the country. After achieving his certificate of completion of training in plastic surgery in Scotland, Mr Chin embarked on a senior fellowship at the world renowned St Thomas Hospital in London.

He was first appointed as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon in Ninewells Hospital in Dundee in 2020, and then joined Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, covering the regions of Berkshire, and parts of neighbouring Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Sussex.

Mr Chin’s extensive training has been awarded with the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Plast), a Master of Science Degree from University College London, and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is a member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons) and BSSH (British Society for the Surgery of the Hand).

In addition to a special interest in skin cancer management, Mr Chin has a varied practice with interests in hand surgery, trauma surgery and aesthetic surgery.

Amit Pabari MBBS MRCSEd FRCS(Plast)

Amit Pabari is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College and undertook his surgical training in a number of prestigious hospitals in London. His specialist plastic surgery training started at The Royal Free Hospital, London. Subsequently, he trained at Charing Cross Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Following completion of his specialist plastic surgery training, Mr Pabari undertook an aesthetic surgery fellowship at The Wellington Hospital, London and a breast, skin and microsurgery fellowship at Charing Cross Hospital.

He is a fully accredited specialist in plastic surgery and is on the Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery with the General Medical Council.

 Currently, Mr Pabari holds a Consultant Plastic Surgeon post at the NHS King Edward VII Hospital in Windsor and at The Parapet – part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Richard Baker MBChB MD(Res) FRCS(Plast)

Richard Baker is a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Plastic Surgery at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in medicine at Cambridge University and qualified in 2001. He undertook clinical and laboratory research into insulin and its anti-scarring properties at the RAFT Institute of Plastic Surgery achieving an MD(Res) at the University College London in 2008. Mr Baker was appointed Specialty Training Registrar in Plastic Surgery in October 2008 beginning at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and rotating to the Royal Free Hospital, London, and finally Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford.

He achieved fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012 and entered the specialist register as a plastic surgeon in 2016. He has completed Training Interface Group Fellowships in Reconstructive Cosmetic Surgery in Leicester and Hand and Wrist Surgery in Nottingham culminating in the European Diploma of Hand Surgery in 2014. He has visited prestigious international units: E’Da Hospital in Taiwan, the Kleinert Institute in Louisville and Santander (Francisco Del Pinal) in Spain.

His special interests are hand and wrist surgery, paediatric plastic surgery, body contouring and cosmetic surgery. Mr Baker’s private practice is based at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor and the Spire Thames Valley Hospital, Wexham.

Matthew D. Gardiner MA PhD FRCS(Plast)

Matthew Gardiner is a Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. He read physiological sciences as an undergraduate at Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge before moving to Oriel College, University of Oxford to complete his clinical training in 2002. He completed a PhD at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, Imperial College London and maintains an active research portfolio in hand and plastic surgery. He has completed an aesthetic fellowship at the Wellington Hospital, London and Hand and Wrist Fellowship in Oxford.
